The University of Limerick is a public university located in Limerick, Ireland. It was founded in 1972 and has since grown to become a large and respected institution of higher education. The University of Limerick is one of Ireland's top universities. It was ranked 35th in the world in terms of research impact in the Times Higher Education rankings, making it one of the World's Top 100 Young Universities. In the QS World Ranking, it was ranked 501st in 2022.
