Future Learning

Future Learning Language School
📍 Dublin City Centre Est. 2013 EAQUALS Accredited Dublin & Athlone

Future Learning has been running since 2013 with campuses in Dublin and Athlone. It's an EAQUALS-accredited school — a standard that's harder to meet than most Irish EFL accreditations and one that carries recognition across Europe. The school's approach leans on technology: interactive tools, digital learning, and a curriculum designed to connect to real-world professional situations rather than classroom exercises.

Class sizes average 10–15 students. On day one, you take a placement test and get assigned to the appropriate level — no wasted weeks in a class that's too easy. The school also includes free city tours and activities as part of its programme, so you're getting some structured time outside the classroom alongside your lessons.

The Athlone campus is worth knowing about. Athlone is a midlands town about 90 minutes from Dublin, centrally placed between the coasts. It's quieter than Dublin, significantly cheaper for day-to-day costs, and has a local job market in pharmaceutical, tech, and hospitality. Students who want a smaller, less expensive base while still being close to Dublin often find it a practical option.

Why students choose Future Learning

01

EAQUALS accreditation

EAQUALS sets rigorous European standards for language schools. It's harder to obtain than standard Irish ACELS registration and is recognised across Europe — useful if you're using the qualification to demonstrate English level for work or study.

02

Small class sizes

Classes average 10–15 students. You get more attention from teachers, more speaking time per lesson, and a more productive classroom dynamic than you'd typically find in larger schools.

03

Technology-integrated teaching

Future Learning uses modern technology throughout its curriculum. Digital tools and applied programmes are part of daily lessons rather than occasional extras — a more practical approach for students who intend to work in English-speaking environments.

04

Career-focused programmes

Beyond general English, the school runs courses with a career development angle — work and study, business English, and teacher development. The Dublin Business Academy is part of the same group.

05

Athlone campus option

The Athlone campus suits students who want lower living costs and a quieter environment. At 90 minutes from Dublin, it's not remote — but it is significantly cheaper, and the local economy has real employment options.

06

Free city activities included

City tours and excursions are built into the programme at no extra cost. A small thing, but useful for students who are new to Ireland and want structured introductions to their surroundings.
